Participants will learn a grouping method that will work throughout the year, with no effort on the teacher's part once the initial set-up has been completed. I plan on offering a ready-made template and other resources as I train teachers on the way the process works and the way to train students. This method provides for groups of two, three, and four, with grouping opportunities for all three based on either (a) heterogenous or b) homogenous groups. It allows for thoughtful decisions about whom to sit with whom. All a teacher has to say is "go to the color that aligns with (kind of group - shape, number, letter, etc.). You have one minute."
